What is MCP
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. The words sound complicated. What it does is simple.
Think about this. Every time you open a new conversation with Claude, Claude knows nothing about your previous conversations. It is like talking to someone with amnesia. Yesterday you spent two hours discussing your project. Today you open a new chat and Claude has no idea. You start from scratch.
MCP fixes that.
MCP is a communication channel between Claude and other systems. Through it, Claude can remember things about you from one conversation to the next. It can access information from your account on the platform. It can check your level, your completed courses, your purchases.
Without MCP, Claude is a brilliant expert with amnesia. With MCP, Claude has memory.
For you, MCP means this. You connect once. From that point on, Claude knows you. Not perfectly. Not everything. But enough that you never start from zero again.
On Claude Accord, MCP is the foundation. Through it, the platform works like a hotel that recognises you. Not like a reception desk where you show your ID every single time.
Connect once. Be known.
